Megan Walters

A recent graduate of the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University, Megan Walters has been playing horn for 15 years and counting. Instructed and mentored by Leslie Norton, principal horn player of the Nashville Symphony, Megan has played in brass and woodwind quintet, Wind Symphony and Orchestra during her time in undergrad. She also has extensive drum corps experience with Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps placing second at the world championships in 2022. She currently plays horn with the Lakes Brass Quintet and the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta and runs a private horn and brass studio throughout Williamson County. She recently finished her masters in music education this past summer, and currently teaches General Music at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro, TN.
